Landfills
Two landfills support the growing Antelope Valley community. The Antelope Valley Landfill, located in Palmdale offers waste disposal and recycling services. It is also home to the new Antelope Valley Environmental Collection Center, where residents can drop off household hazardous waste and e-waste free of charge. The Antelope Valley Landfill is at the end of City Ranch Road, off of Tierra Subida Avenue, between Avenue S and Avenue R.
The Lancaster Landfill, also offering a waste disposal and recycling services, is located at 600 E. Avenue F, between Division Street and 10th Street E. Lancaster city residents are entitled to receive a 15% discount on the posted landfill gate rate on residential refuse only.
